In ArcGIS Pro, custom script or model tool descriptions do not update in the ribbon tooltip after editing, unless all ribbon customizations are fully reset.

Workaround

1. Perform a full reset of ribbon customizations (Options > Customize the Ribbon > Reset All).
2. Re-add the custom script or model tool to the ribbon.
3. This refreshes the tooltip and displays the updated description.

Limitation: This also resets all other ribbon and quick access toolbar customizations, which must be reconfigured manually.
