In ArcGIS Pro 2.9.2, attempting to use manual interval in a layer with bivariate symbology results in the map not responding to the dragging of the breaks if a field contains a query.

Additional Information

The intervals are updating as expected, with and without an expression in ArcGIS Pro 3.3.

Workaround

  1. Click ArcTutor and click the Parcels folder to open the parcels_region_poly shapefile (attached in the zip file to the Bug).
  2. Navigate to the Symbology pane.
  3. Click the Bivariate Colors symbology and select Natural Breaks as the method.
  4. Type PARCELS_ in Field 1 and NUMBER_ in Field 2.
  5. Adjust the intervals for Legend.

The method is automatically changed to Manual Intervals and the symbology is adjusted on the map accordingly.
