In ArcGIS Pro 2.9, when using Field Calculator on a hosted feature service, the process takes a lot longer than using Field Calculator on a hosted feature service in ArcGIS Online when the hosted feature service has a join added to it.

It is not possible to send a REST request to the server when calculating based on a client-side join. The documentation, https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/services/use-web-feature-layers.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_6F2F97FC32A34F968DAE13EAE74E8570 is to be updated to provide more details on the workflow.
