Additional Information
Within ArcMap, if the user updates the symbology to a hatch and then clicks Adds All Values, the other classes are created with a hatching symbology, only with varying colors. In ArcGIS Pro, when the user adds all values, these values are a solid fill rather than a hatching symbology like <all other values>.
Workaround
If a default symbol (like a hatch symbol) exists in the Gallery, apply the hatch symbol and mimic the random color scheme effects by performing the steps below:
- In the Symbology pane, click the Add all values button.
- Hold Shift and select all unique value symbols in the list.
- Right-click any of the symbols and select Format symbol(s).
- Choose the symbol from the Gallery tab as a default template. Click the back arrow after it is applied.
- With all unique value symbols still selected, choose a color scheme to apply it to the hatch lines only.
