In ArcGIS Online when creating an item with stored credentials from a Living Atlas of the World layer, the dynamic symbology that is applied to the layer is not preserved.

Additional Information

This is expected behavior. Dynamic symbology is set on the map image item in AGOL not the service at REST.

Workaround

In the web map, manually apply the symbology to each layer within the service so that the styling is stored to the layer properties within the web map JSON.
