In ArcGIS Online, uploading an Excel file larger than 10 MB returns the error message: "Error while analyzing file. There was an error trying to analyze your file. Check your file is formatted correctly".

Workaround

  1. Covert the Excel to CSV and then upload to Content.
  2. 'Add .xlsx only' option works to add the excel file to the Content. Using the Publish option can publish it as table too.
