This is a known limitation of web browsers. Web browsers have a limit on the number of WebGL layers that can be rendered. There are possibilities for the web browsers to increase the limit in the future, but been the same for about two years. Authors can consider breaking their story into a series of stories if the authors are hitting this limit or using screenshots or images of maps that do not need to be loaded dynamically.Steps to Reproduce
