In ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS, there is no option to update dependent items when adding an item to a group using the 'Add items to group' button.

This issue is as designed. There is no 'Review layer sharing' dialog when adding a web map with dependent items to a group using the 'Add items to group' button. To address this issue, some updates are being considered in the next few releases for the group sharing functionality to be consistent in all areas.Steps to Reproduce
