Additional Information

The field alias remains when users save a pop-up in the web map that uses the original field alias. Since users can change the field alias when creating a pop-up, ArcGIS Online is designed to not change an alias that is saved on the pop-up automatically. Remove the pop-up before saving the map. When the saved web map is opened and pop-ups are added back, the alias is updated.

Workaround

1. In the ArcGIS Online web map viewer, click the Configure Pop-up button and change the field name.2. Disable and re-enable the pop-up.
