In ArcGIS Online, adding a new field to a hosted feature through Field Maps Designer does not reflect that new field in the subsequent feature layer views.

Additional Information
Hosted feature layer views are used for sharing data as well as editing data, and automatically adding new fields to view layers poses a data security risk. New fields can be added to existing view layers through the Update view workflow from the Setting tab.Workaround
1) Use the Update View workflow from the Settings tab to add the new field to the existing view layer.
2) Create the view layer after adding the new field through Field Maps Designer, so the field opens in the feature layer views.
