Additional Information

When a web app sends request to a Printing services, it makes request to get an image back from the map service used in the web map. Map services have max image height and width restrictions - by default they are 2048x2048. When a printing service realizes that the size of the image, that is needed to cover the map area on a layout, is larger than the map service's max image height and width, it makes multiple requests (more like in tile fashion) and stitches those images together to fill up the map area on the layout. therefore the larger the map area on the layout is, the higher the dpi is, it needs to make more requests to get image. with dynamic labeling enabled, it is very likely that you'd get duplicated labels at edges of tiles. please see workaround options provided with this bug.

Workaround

1. Use annotations instead of dynamic labels.2. Increase the max image height and width of the map service, so the printing service makes less number of requests to the map service.
