In ArcGIS Field Maps (Android), the following error message is returned, "The server may not be responding or we encountered an unexpected error" if accessing a specific portal URL without the double forward slash '//' when logging in with ArcGIS Enterprise.

 Add an extra slash (to make a double slash) to the URL (for example, https://portal.domain.com//).
