Additional Information

1. In some instances, when a selection is made, the map zooms into another feature. Upon reviewing the video and conducting tests, this issue cannot be replicated. Click on Parkland, then Sea-Tac. If clicking on another record before zooming to Sea-Tac, the API terminates zooming to Sea-Tac and zooming to the other record directly. 2. The zooming into the features is inconsistent. This is not a bug, and it is by design. The behavior that is described with zooming in, which alternates between animation and direct transition, is the default functionality of the API. The discontinuity that is referred to with the zooming process is due to the API's decision-making based on factors like time, distance, etc. to determine whether to apply animation. This approach is meant to enhance the user experience. Consistently using animation for zooming can lead to issues such as flashing basemaps or blank maps when transitioning between distant points like A and B, which can result in a suboptimal user experience.
