In ArcGIS Enterprise, the ArcGIS Indoors Space Planner configurable app does not recognize default layers in the ArcGIS Indoors Space Planner sample product data provided with ArcGIS Pro 3.1. The resulting error message is inaccurate.

Workaround

If the same error is returned with other datasets or ArcGIS Indoors databases, confirm that it is using branched versioning. Space Planner specifically requires data to be branch versioned, but this error message does not indicate the actual issue taking place.
