Bug
In ArcGIS Desktop, you cannot open or view the properties of an empty spatial table that has not been registered with the geodatabase or with ST_Geometry (using the st_register_spatial_column function). Opening the table or the Table Properties dialog box fails with the error "Stream finished" error.

Workaround
Register the ST_Geometry column of the table using the st_register_spatial_column function before viewing it in ArcGIS Desktop.
