| Applies to | ArcGIS Dashboards |
| Version found | 10.8 |
| Operating System | Windows OS |
| Operating System Version | 10.0 64 Bit |
| Status | Known Limit
After review by the development team, it has been determined that this issue is related to a known limitation with the software that lies outside of Esri's control. The issue's Additional Information section may contain further explanation.

Additional Information
The selector is working as designed. The default text of 'None' indicates that no features are selected, meaning that all features are visible, and no filters or other action is applied. This text can be changed to provide clarity in the context of the dashboard configuration, for example, 'select an area' or 'all'.
Workaround
The workaround to avoid this is to not use a 'None' option, however, it obviously defeats the purpose.
