In ArcGIS Collector (Windows), when opening an ArcGIS Survey123 link with a custom URL scheme to pre-populate fields, the fields containing special characters such as '#' are not passed to the ArcGIS Survey123 mobile app.

This is a duplicate of BUG-000101611.Workaround
Use an Arcade function to remove special characters from fields before passing them through to the survey. This requires a find and replace statement for every special character and changes the data. For more information, refer here. This workaround is tedious and not ideal.
