In ArcGIS API for Python version 2.0.0 updating a feature layer with a zipped shapefile using Collection.manager.overwrite fails with the error message, "AttributeError: 'PropertyMap' instance has no attribute 'Tables'" returned.

Workaround

  • Use ArcGIS API for Python versions older than version 2.0.0.
  • Use Truncate and Append instead of Overwrite.
