In a PDF exported using ArcPy from a map containing an Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) object, the object is displayed as an empty rectangle with the label (OLE frame) inside it.

Additional Information

This is a known limitation. The Python libraries used to export do NOT support OLE objects. This won't be addressed in ArcMap and ArcMap application is best used to export.
