Imported Terrain Bounds are not read correctly from GeoTIFF images.

Description

CityEngine does not read the bounds correctly for GeoTIFF files when imported as terrains.

Cause

The header tags of the GeoTIFF image are not properly read.

Workaround

The TIFF image is read correctly when there is a world file present.

  1. Open the Export Raster World File tool from the ArcGIS Data Management toolbox.
  2. Select the TIFF image and run the tool. The *.tfw file is created in the workspace of the image.
