Workaround

User checks his fields collection and redefines the scale and precision before running IFeatureDataConverter.When I loop through the output fields (debugging in line by line) afterthe IFieldChecker validate function the precision and scale of doublefields is correct. We had even forced a temporary workaround to thewould-be bug by "modifying" the precision of double fields as: if (F.Type == esriFieldType.esriFieldTypeDouble){ IFieldEdit2 fe2 = F as IFieldEdit2; if (F.Precision > F.Scale - 1) fe2.Precision_2 = F.Precision - F.Scale + 1;}
