If the schema.ini file is not already created for a CSV used as input for the Table To Table tool, the output contains null values in place of text values if the field type is changed from numerical to text in the tool's field map.

Force the creation of a schema.ini file by adding the CSV to ArcMap first. Or Write the schema.ini file in a text editor, and save it in the same location as the CSV. This also allows users to set the field type so that no changes are required in the field map.Steps to Reproduce
