Bug
If an item has non-upgraded 9.3.1 FGDC-format (Federal Geographic Data Committee) metadata, and the metadata content in the Description tab is edited, the Desktop application crashes when saving changes if a specific registry key does not exist.

Workaround
1. Open the Options dialog box.2. Click the Metadata tab.3. Select the appropriate metadata style in the drop-down list.4. Select both check boxes, if appropriate.5. Click OK.Steps to Reproduce
