Additional Information

ArcGIS does not utilize or support the Oracle Float data type. (http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/manage-data/databases/dbms-data-types-supported.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_F4879D2C89A64EAE8767346408E6EDB6) Consider using NUMBER(p,s) instead of Float.

Workaround

  1. In ArcCatalog, right-click the table using float.
  2. Export > To Geodatabase.
  3. Fill in the Output Location and Output Table name.
  4. In the Field Map, right-click the field using the float data type (in the sample script that is "floatfield").
  5. Click Properties.
  6. Change scale to 8.
  7. Click OK and execute the export. The table in the enterprise geodatabase retains decimals now.
