There are no plans to address this issue in ArcMap or ArcObjects.Workaround
To see the items in the Overflow Annotation window after the add-in runs, follow the instructions below:
- Right-click the 'Cities' feature.
- Select Label Features. Notice the items displayed in the Overflow Annotation window.
- Select Label Features again to remove the (duplicate) Labels from the map to display the annotations only.
