Hosted feature layers with similar titles are not able to be created from the Content > Create button in ArcGIS Online. Errors out stating, "The Feature Service titled 'XX' is already available in this folder. Please choose a different title."

Workaround

1. Proceed to create the feature layer, but give it a completely different title. Possibly a longer title.
2. Once the hosted feature layer is created, go to the Item Details and change the title > Ok.
   1. By doing this workaround, ArcGIS Online grants the ability to set the title as the desired title from the beginning
