Additional Information
Previously, in Map Viewer Classic, the form used for editing was based on the pop-up. There is an option to select which fields to display and make editable when configuring the attributes in the pop-up.
However, in Map Viewer, the editing experience is enhanced by adding a separate form-authoring experience. Now, building forms is done by pressing the Forms button with the layer selected in the map.
Using the form builder, users can choose which fields to add to the form, group fields, give the form a title, and more. Form authors can set properties on the form, such as whether a field is editable, required, or visible.
To reiterate, Map Viewer allows one to author a form separately from authoring a pop-up, providing more flexibility and control over their editing experience. It is encouraged to get familiar with the form-authoring experience in Map Viewer.
Workaround
Authors forms in Map Viewer. To access the form authoring, select the layer and click the Forms button on the right toolbar.
