Bug

Having a feature class or table with the same name as the data owner’s name causes Enable Archiving on the object to fail with an error message returning “Failed to enable archiving. Underlying DBMS error [ORA-24344: success with compilation errors]” in Oracle Enterprise geodatabases.

Workaround

Remove or rename the feature class with the same name as the user. Then enable archiving.
