GUIDs are returned instead of role names from the server object extension (SOE) when the current user is a part of a group for a federated server.

Additional Information

This is expected behavior. The user, when added to a group in Portal for ArcGIS, does have the group returned in the SOE. The ID is used since it is the only way to uniquely identify the group. The name of the group is not returned because the group name is not unique. Users can create groups with the same name. Since this particular method is intended for security purposes, it is important that the group be uniquely identified.
