Geoprocessing tool created from a Python script in ArcMap 10.7.1 fails to run in early releases of ArcGIS Pro (ArcGIS Pro 2.1.0 and ArcGIS Pro 2.2.1) when the geoprocessing tool name begins with a number.

Additional Information

This is by design. The names in ArcGIS cannot begin with a number.

Workaround

Rename the tool to begin with a letter instead of a number when creating the tool. It is not possible to edit or rename a custom geoprocessing tool after publishing as a service.
