Geocoding a table of addresses in ArcGIS Pro using a locator added as an item to ArcGIS Online fails but succeeds in making a direct connection to the server and geocoding using the locator.

The issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 2.7 beta in either ArcGIS Online organization or Enterprise portal.Workaround
Adding the geocoding service URL as a geocoding service in the ArcGIS Online organization's settings ensures the geocoding works with no issue. The issue only seems to occur when adding it as an item in ArcGIS Online.
