Geocoding a table in Slovenian language in ArcMap with the world geocoding service gives incorrect results; however, Esri Maps for Office gives the correct results.

Workaround

1. Convert the Excel (XLS) table to a comma-separated values (CSV) table.2. Convert again to the DataBase File (DBF) table or change headers to the English Language, and do not use special characters in headers.
