Workaround
- Copy the summary section of the metadata.
- In the General tab of the Share as Web Layer pane, paste the metadata into the summary section.
Note: When publishing it to ArcGIS Online, the whole metadata summary is present on the Item Details page. Refer to the following link of the hosted feature layer with the whole summary copied into the summary section of the Share As Web Layer pane in ArcGIS Pro, https://ess.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=f514d93c675e45bf89ad9f003bb2340e
