Additional Information

The base address is required to be in the data in order to support suggestions for subaddresses when just the base address is entered. This is documented in the following help topic: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geocoding/tips-for-improving-geocoding-quality.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_780A7E188E364269A7DE09EA4538F571

Workaround

  1. Copy or create a new record or address that has the same base address, but ensure this record has an empty or null value in the 'Unit' field.

  2. Create a new locator with the edited data.
  3. Type the base address in the 'Locate' search bar.
