Workaround

Possible workarounds (see incident 926561):corrupted file geodatabase contains some files with extensions *tmp.gdbtablx, *.tmp.gdbtable. It seems like the compact process quit before it had finished, and left the geodatabase in an unstable state. Rename *.tmp.* to *.* for those files that have a tmp just before the dot (remember to remove any existing files that would have the same name as the renamed tmp files. Rename the files (for example: a00000001tmp.gdbtablx gets renamed to a00000001.gdbtablx). Also there are 'a00000001.freelist' and 'a00000001tmp.freelist' file. Delete the first and rename the second. It may help to recover the file geodatabase.
