Workaround

Pull changes from the parent geodatabase instead of pushing changes from the parent to the child geodatabase.Right-click the child geodatabase from ArcCatalog > Distributed Geodatabase > Synchronize changes Check that the child geodatabase is 'Geodatabase 1,' parent geodatabase is 'Geodatabase 2' and select the appropriate replica. Synchronize Direction should be 'From Geodatabase 2 to Geodatabase 1.' Changes are updated in the child geodatabase after running the tool.
