Fails to calculate a field in a non-versioned feature class with a joined standalone table when the editing option is set to Single workspace edit session.

Workaround

Avoid using the Editing option. Use the steps below to enable and disable editing:

1. Click the Edit tab.
2. In the Manage Edits group, click Editing Options.
3. Click Editing.
4. Under Set options for editing, expand Session.
5. Enable the Enable and disable editing from the Edit tab option.
6. Select Single workspace edit session.
7. Click OK.
