Extent Rectangles from ArcGIS Desktop 9.1 MXDs appear jagged when viewed in ArcGIS Desktop 9.2. This only happens with certain projections, like Mercators. Other projections, like NAD83, are fine.

Workaround

Changing the dataframe from Mercators to some other projection, like NAD 83, fixes the problem.
