Workaround

Hiding the large number of fields for the input Feature layer makes the output CAD file much smaller. Export the feature classes to individual CAD files. If individual CAD files are too big to export, break them up into smaller feature classes. Because of a memory leak, shut down ArcGIS between execution of the tool to release memory. A recent change to the code only exports attributes if they differ from the default. This may solve many issues with large datasets. There is still a limit on the size being created. The failure is happening in the third-party libs.
