Workaround

1. Rename the .zip file to a .war file before deploying to an application server.2. Cancel the File Download dialog, and browse to <a href="file:C:/Program" target="_blank">C:\Program</a> Files\ArcGIS\java\web_output\applications where the *.WAR file is created, and deploy that to an application server
