Workaround

Creating a mosaic dataset and then export as desired works in some situations. Also the Raster Patch (<a href="http://resources.arcgis.com/content/patches-and-service-packs?fa=viewPatch&PID=160&MetaID=1648" target="_blank">http://resources.arcgis.com/content/patches-and-service-packs?fa=viewPatch&PID=160&MetaID=1648</a>) seems to correct some of the export problems as well. Added by Amitabh Singh on 11/9/2010:- While exporting to PDF, if the "Output Image Quality (Resample Ratio)" on the General tab is reduced (from Best ) to Normal or Below that, it exports the raster well.Added by Jie Chang on 11/12/2010:- For smaller images, this workaround works. But for larger images, the output image quality has to be set as "Fast", and therefore the image quality is not acceptable.Added by Tony Pagani 12/1/2010:Creating a Mosaic Dataset as a work around does not correct the issue with print preview or printing. Export to PDF before printing.Added by Gayathri Alallasundaram 01/13/2011Creating a Mosaic dataset does not work for users who have a ArcView license and hence the workaround would be to use the Mosaic to New Raster tool and mosaic the separate TIFF images.
