Excel files exported from a suitability analysis in ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App display blank in Numbers (an iOS app) and in Google Sheets.

Additional Information

The issue with blank Google Sheets is fixed in the latest release.

Workaround

Workaround 1:

  1. Open the exported Suitability Analysis in Excel.
  2. Copy all of the data (CRTL+A+C).
  3. Open a new Excel file.
  4. Paste the copied data into the new Excel file.
  5. Save the new excel file.
  6. Upload the Excel file to Google Drive or Numbers.

Workaround 2:

  1. When exporting the Suitability Analysis to Excel, select Export to a new suitability layer.
  2. Log in to ArcGIS Online, and click the Content tab.
  3. Navigate to the All My Content folder on the left of the screen.
  4. Click the hosted feature layer titled <Project Name> Layers.
  5. Under the Layers section, click the layer containing the same name as the exported Suitability Analysis.
  6. On the new page, select Export Data > Export to CSV File.
  7. Specify a title and tags for the CSV file, and select Export.
  8. On the new page that opens, click Download.
  9. The downloaded file displays data in Numbers and Google Drive.
