Additional Information

This is a designed behavior of the Linear Referencing Service (LRS) to apply edits in ArcGIS REST API endpoints. Supporting merging of more than two adjacent records in the operation requires changes to the endpoint that would severely degrade the performance throughout Event Editor. Using the merge events widget in Event Editor for the best results.
