Error "The database could not be edited because it is locked by another edit session" returned when attempts to activate Streaming Log (GPS Toolbar) when versioned data is from SQL Server Express SDE gdb.

Additional Information

GPS Toolbar streaming to log capability designed to work outside of active Edit session only.

Workaround

Insert one feature (can be deleted later) with the insert feature tool. Start streaming again and it will start.
