Additional Information

Not in the plan to address this issue in the command line tool. Please consider the functionality of registering a view with the geodatabase added at ArcGIS 10.5.

Workaround

Using a conversion function such as NVL or DECODE on the field that is used for the SUM in creating the original tabular view referenced works fine. Also an obvious workaround of ensuring that there are no null values within the field that is used within the aggregate function.SQL> CREATE OR REPLACE FORCE VIEW SDE.VIEWnvl (ID, NONNULLE) AS SELECT MIN (id) AS id, SUM (NVL(nonnulle,0)) AS nonnulle FROM SDE.TEST;View created.c:\arcgis\ArcSDE\commands\bin>sdetable -o create_view -u sde -p sde -i sde:oracle11g:tenpointone -T nvlsecondview -t "viewnvl v,monde_stgeometry fc" -c v.nonnulle,v.id,fc.shape -w fc.objectid=v.idArcSDE 10.1 for Oracle11g Build 679 Thu Apr 5 11:43:21 2012Attribute Administration Utility-----------------------------------------------------Successfully created view nvlsecondview.
