ERDAS imagine raster using a 16-bit colormap does not convert properly to geodatabase (ArcSDE and personal) formats when using the "Colormap to RGB" option.

Workaround
add the 16 bit image to ArcMapClick Export DataIn the dialog, check User Renderer and Force RGBset the output.The output will be scale down to 8 bit and with RGB output.Steps to Reproduce
