Entering a username in Configure ArcGIS Server Account, with or without completing the configuration process causes the ArcGIS Server installer to use the username, even if it does not exist.

Workaround

  1. Open the Configure ArcGIS Server Account utility.
  2. Remove the username previously used.
  3. Close the program.
