The user must send acceptsBasicAuthHeader=true via https://[root]/portals/[portalID]/oidc/[oidcID]/update(POST only).
ArcGIS Enterprise users have an additional option to use Portal's REST Sharing API HTML page: navigate to https://[root]/portals/[portalID]/oidc/[oidcID]/update and update the option with an HTML interface.
