Embedding a web app URL within PDF hyperlinks does not work in ArcGIS StoryMaps. The message "This page has been blocked by Chrome" or "This page has been blocked by Microsoft Edge" is returned.

This is a known limitation due to embedding items within a web app that is then embedded in ArcGIS StoryMaps. This issue also occurs when a web app is embedded elsewhere outside of ArcGIS StoryMaps. Use the recommended workaround to resolve the issue.Workaround

When configuring the splash screen in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, change the target for the hyperlink to a 'New Window'.
