Edits in the Smart Editor widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder cannot be saved unless the user clicks outside of the attribute being edited.

Workaround

If the following parameters are enabled under General Settings > Save Settings, the edits are automatically saved:

• Save new features automatically.
• Save attribute and geometry updates automatically.
